Joselyn launched her career in the early 90s; capitalising on the ‘Seattle grunge’ scene in Washington State, as the Events and Operation Manager at arts and entertainment centre Piccadilly Palare. Moving to London ‘93/’94, she landed a role at United International Pictures’ head office, working on Advertising-Media plans & Creative materials on behalf of Dreamworks, Universal, Paramount and M.G.M. & U.A. theatrical releases; meanwhile, cultivating good relationships and networks which lead to the offer of an elevated position on the International Marketing and Distribution Theatrical team at M.G.M. & U.A. studios (working on ‘James. James Bond’ films).

Joselyn migrated to Melbourne, taking up the position of Liaison Officer (Communications) at Arts Victoria, working on behalf of the Minister for the Arts. This experience provided an excellent insight into the arts community as well as government funding and protocol; and ultimately, ushered Joselyn into a sought after Promotions role at Melbourne International Film Festival. Whilst maintaining a firm foothold in the local and international music community, Joselyn was keen to apply her passion and expertise more directly to the music industry; consequently, taking the helm as Manager of the PR & Marketing Department at Stomp Entertainment.

Crimson Communications (est. 2006) consolidates this knowledge with an affinity for the arts; above all, music and film.

Note: Joselyn was awarded a Masters of Arts in Communications from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (R.M.I.T.) University in 2003.
